The interest rate markets continue to adjust, from hitting the all time lows on 2-2-2012, until now, rates are higher by as much as .375% to .50% depending on the loan program, loan amount, loan to value, debt to income ratios and credit scores. Now is the time to review where you are and not miss out on rates that are still at historic lows. Heavy Regulations of the Mortgage Industry and the ability to make loans to individuals on their home, continue to change. New programs come out, but have many restrictions on what you can actually do with these programs. Like the new Harp 2.0 for Fannie Mae loans & Freddie Mac loans, owned or purchase by either company prior to 5-31-2009, where there is “supposed” to have “no limit” on the Loan to Value, but not everyone will qualify for these.
